Does Medicaid cover ABA therapy in Colorado?

Yes. Health First Colorado (Medicaid) covers ABA therapy for children with a documented autism diagnosis, with no copay or deductible. We also accept Aetna, Cigna, Tricare, and most major commercial plans.

Where does therapy take place?

We bring ABA therapy directly to your home, where children learn best in a familiar environment. Some sessions may also take place in school or community settings depending on your child’s goals.

What ages do you work with?

After we receive your referral, sessions typically begin within 4–6 weeks — this includes insurance verification, prior authorization, and your child’s initial BCBA assessment.

Day-to-day sessions are delivered by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who designs and oversees your child’s individualized program.
